A premium cask lager beer made with lager malt & yeast. Flavoured with Hersbrucker hops producing a light & delicate flavour with subtle fruity after notes

It’s Coming Home - ABV 4.3%:

An unusual mild made with Oats, Rye & dark malts, flavoured with English Brambling Cross hops  & blackcurrant notes in the aftertaste.

Old Sodbury Mild - ABV 3.9% (May):

A light amber ale, flavoured with Amarillo hops and fresh apricots.

Apricot Harvest - ABV 4.7% (July):

A honey wheat beer, smooth finish with honey noticeable in the aroma and taste but balanced with a blend of mount hood and cascade hops to override the residual sweetness.

HoneyBear - ABV 5.2% (August / Sept ):

A strong pale ale based on a recipe by William Cobbet, an initial malty sweetness combined with a good  hoppy finish with some citrus notes.

Uncle Dick’s Cottage Ale - ABV 6.3% (Oct / Nov):

Rich dark porter with chocolate and roast in the mouth. A good hoppy finish with fruity after-notes

Nut brown in colour, this traditional ale is rich and biscuity on the palate with a subtle blend of spices in the finish. Liquid Christmas pudding in a glass

Christmas Old Ale 5.0% (Christmas)

Yes this was in fact one of our beers. This was an initial trial beer that we felt wasn’t quite up to standard, however, we seem to have been proved wrong, with this mild amber ale being voted festival beer at the Avon Valley beer festival.

CSB Mystery - ABV 4.3% (Our first beer & a one off)

Here is an early winter special to warm up those darkening nights.

Nut brown in colour, this traditional ale is rich and ‘biscuity’ on the palate, with a slight bitter finish.

Codrington Old Ale - ABV 4.8% (Seasonal)

This special dark ‘heart warming’ late winter ale has a mild liquorish toffee like flavour, with a hint of spice in the aftertaste.

Codrington Winter Royal - ABV 5.8% (Jan / Feb)

A wholesome stout with a rich complexity of flavours. This

special ale has a mild taste of coffee on the palate, a smooth finish with a fruity aftertaste.

Dodington Stout - ABV 4.5% (Feb)

A refreshing copper coloured malty session bitter with English
Fuggles for bitterness & Goldings for aroma.

Pheasant Ale 3.6% (April):

A dry crisp thirst quenching hoppy light amber ale with a pleasing
balance of malt & hops.
